Owner and driver John Bradshaw has produced Project Zed, a Nissan 350Z Pro Class drag race car that does 0 to 60 mph in 1.2 seconds and 0 to 168 mph in just 4.1 seconds! Project Zed is powered by a 1,900 bhp 3.5-liter VQ V6 engine and is the first ever Pro Class 350Z dragster in Europe. The dragster will compete at the FIA European Finals at Santa Pod, September 10th to 13th 2009, where it will be the only Japanese engined car competing against American V8 powered cars.

Nissan entered the Nissan GT-R GT1 racer at last weekend’s Total 24 Hours of Spa endurance race in preparation of its entry into next year’s FIA GT championship.
The car, entered by Nissan Motorsports (NISMO) and piloted by Michael Krumm of Germany, Darren Turner and Anthony Davidson, both from Britain, qualified in eighth position with Krumm behind the wheel. After competing for 24 hours, the car finished 56 laps down in thirteenth place overall and third in the GT1 class.
