Nissan North America has reported a decline in combined Nissan and Infiniti year-on-year car sales in the United States in August 2009 with a decline in sales from 108,493 units in August last year to 105,312 units this year, a decline 2.9 percent. However, sales for the Nissan Division sales rose 0.2 percent while sales of Infiniti vehicles decreased by 30.2 percent.

Nissan North America has announced pricing for the 2010 Nissan Rogue crossover SUV, which is currently on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide. The 2010 Nissan Rogue is available in two model variants – the Nissan Rogue S and Nissan Rogue SL – each available in front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). All models are powered by 170 hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, and featuring Nissan’s advanced Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission) system, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and six air bags.
