Back in April, Nissan’s Chief Test Driver, Toshio Suzuki set a new personal-best lap time at the Nürburgring driving the revised 2010 Nissan GT-R, which has 5 hp more than the previous model, as well as a revised transmission, new tires and a tweaked suspension. Those updates allowed the revised GT-R to do a 7:26.7 lap time, down from the 7:28 laptime greatly disputed by Porsche. The 7:26.7 laptime places the GT-R behind the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which posted a 7:26.4 laptime. The Dodge Viper ACR is still the fastest, however, with a 7:22.1 laptime.
